Susanna S. Piller, who joined the firm in 1992, serves as co-managing partner of the firm and practices in the areas of health law, commercial real estate, corporate, commercial transactions and finance. She represents healthcare clients in corporate and transactional matters and provides counsel on a wide range of healthcare operational matters.
Ms. Piller has extensive experience handling financing transactions with particular emphasis in commercial and real estate related transactions including acquisitions and commercial leasing. She also handles financing transactions for business entities as well as for commercial lenders.
She is experienced in handling corporate matters including the formation of corporations and LLCs, mergers and acquisitions, and shareholder and member agreements for U.S. and Canadian clients; providing representation for foundations, associations, museums, and research institutions.
Ms. Piller received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1988 from the College of William & Mary in Virginia. She received her Juris Doctorate in 1992 from Washington & Lee University Law School.
